Dear Families,

I have always believed in the magic of Santa and Christmas. To celebrate the gift of the birth of Christ, and the love that Santa has carried through time, is the greatest feeling. To be able to step into that story and create memories, or revive them, is a blessing to me.

I have a natural gift for connecting with people. I am personable from the very first moment, and I can draw complete strangers into deep, meaningful conversation with remarkably little to go on. Children feel that, and so do their grandparents.

Questions children ask

The first questionAre you the real Santa?

I usually smile and ask, “Do you believe Santa is real?”

Based on the answer, I share that to me, Santa and his magic, my magic, is very real. That magic is formed by believing, memories and love. I have all of that.

The big wishCan you bring me a pony?

Santa works very closely with moms and dads, to make sure they approve and that you will take care of the gift.

Besides, I don’t make promises. I surprise you Christmas morning. Not knowing, and still believing, makes Christmas magic.

The hardest oneCan you make my mom and dad get back together?

A boy once asked me that. I told him I am a toymaker and I can’t do that, but that I understand his feelings, and that he loves his parents so much he wants them to be together.

I can pray with you for peace in your heart, and that you always know that Santa and your parents, no matter where they are, love you.
